Why is it that people drive around in £15,000 worth of cars but will not spend £4 -5 on a wired earpiece. They need a good smack! There isn’t anything really suitable avalable and I’m not sure that giving people driving a ton or metal a shock would be a good idea anyway. Some places, theatres for instance have devices that transmit noise on the bands used by cell phones. Phone cannot connect to local cell so it stops people making or receiving calls on their phones during performances but they don’t lend themselves to installation in cars and would be illegal in that application. Some hotels have used the devices to force guests to use the hotel phones at exorbitent rates but unlicenced jamming of legal use of the airways is an offence.

Please help I left my LG Viewty KU990 in the washing machine (smart) and the dryer (smarter not).
But it still switch’s on and works but on the upper right hand corner its black and also when I call someone I have to speak really loud so that they can hear me.Ive heard that if you leave it in the hot press it drys up and there’s another place that you can put it but i don’t know where that is.So do you have any suggestions?

Basically, your phone is DEAD! If you expose it to water for a short amount of time, then you may be able to save it. As you’ve left it in your washing machine your chances of it working again (properly) are slim. Anyway, use a hairdryer on low heat, (don’t keep it too near to the phone or you’ll fry the circuits!). But if your phones already dry…why bother trying to dry it out again?
